I was told I've been delinquent in sending recent pictures of Lucas. Okay, twist my arm, I'll share some new pics. :)
Lucas is already 9 1/2 months old! He has been crawling efficiently for three months and moves around furniture with ease. Lucas likes to wave hello and goodbye and does it to the phone, too. He said 'dada' first, but it was quickly followed by 'mama.' Lucas has four teeth - two bottom and two top. He is a good eater and likes sampling regular table food and drinking from a sippy cup.
1. This is what happens when you leave a (then) 7 month old in his high chair with food in his reach!
2. Lucas loves tractors - any color, any size. He has already learned and perfected the blrblrblrblrblr noise of driving his tractors on the floor. He likes the power of driving, too. I imagine he's telling Grandpa Richard to drive faster.
3. We acquired a swing set this summer and as we expected, Lucas loves to swing. He likes going on the big slide at the park with Mom and Dad, too.
4. He likes to flirt, particularly at church and with strangers at the grocery store. His smile is pretty infectious, who could resist him?
