Cameron's baptism

Our niece, Cameron, was baptized on Sunday, September 18th.

The original plan was that Steve, Brent, Lucas, Hannah and I would head into Chicago on Saturday because Brent and Steve planned on getting the combine ready at the end of the week and weren't quite sure what Friday would bring.  It ended up that Hannah had a terrible cold with swollen and goopy eyes, a hoarse cough and runny nose.  We knew that hauling her to Chicago wasn't going to be a great idea and she would be pretty miserable.  She and I stayed home while the boys went.  Bummer for me.  :-(

Thankfully, Aunt Michelle shared some great photos!

The happy little family.

Grandbaby #3!

Lucas came home and told me all about the church doors.  These were the same doors that he got his toe smashed with at Brad and Michelle's wedding rehearsal.  He was glad they were open this time and he didn't hurt his toe.
Too cute!  How does he remember all of this stuff?

Michelle is showing off Cameron and her cake, but look how Cameron is staring at her mama?  So adorable!
Cameron's great-grandma (Michelle's Grandma Gabrys) is in the background.

A beautiful day for a very special little girl.
