Preserving the good stuff

Freezing sweet corn is an annual tradition.  Well, mostly annual... some years it just doesn't happen.  This year it did happen and we will get to enjoy this tasty corn all year long.

Uncle Dick, Steve, Brian and Lucas husking.

Lucas, Dean, Great Pa washing.

Marilyn cutting.

Teresa cutting and Lucas farming.

The farm (and M&Ms)

Great Pa, Brian, Steve, Brent cutting.

Brent measuring the recipe.

Aunt Janie cooking.

Connie (aka operations manager).

Uncle Dick and Marilyn bagging.

The leftovers.

We did about 160 quarts and all of the helpers reaped the benefits.  It was a long, tedious day but worth it!
