When a friend sends a group text message before church that they are hosting a sledding party at their house that afternoon [on a sunny, mild temperature afternoon] everyone says yes! We had enough snow to sled several times during the winter but we didn't have a lot of decent temperatures for kids to play outside.
This day was perfect!

Do you see those two people between the break in the trees? That's where the sled hill ended. The trip back up the hill is always a workout but the kids never complained. Smiles covered their faces all afternoon!
