1st grade basketball

If Lucas had money in his pocket the day the basketball forms went home, he would've signed himself up.  Minus the parent permission part.  He was shoving the form in my face as soon as I saw him.  The 1st grade basketball program is really just the beginning steps in teaching fundamentals skills.  But it didn't matter to Lucas at all that there are no games and just a few weeks of practice.  He loved every minute of it.  We are thankful to the volunteer parents who give their time to make the program happen.

I don't care if he is good at the game or not.  I just love how much he loves the game!

He is aiming for the second, lower hoop. 

It was fun to watch he and Owen guard each other.  

The amount of recess hours these two play basketball is crazy.  

Their recess games are to-be-continued for ever and ever.  

A few days ago the score was 131-131.  Ha!
