Vacation Bible School x 2

Lucas attended two vacation bible schools in the month of June.  First was the Lutheran church bible school, where he attends preschool.  The second was combined Catholic & Methodist churches.  Both had a celebration at the end of the week. 

I only got one decent photo from the first VBS program.  I was sitting too far away. 

Three weeks later, Lucas told me to "maybe sit a little bit more closer."  Good advice.  When his tribe entered the sanctuary, he was searching the back pews.  I took his advice, though, and was sitting much closer!  He was so excited to spot us. 

He kept looking at the screen for the words... ironic, though, because he doesn't know how to read.  :)

Pure joy when Hannah was waving to him!

Lucas loved his time at VBS, his teachers and all the fun things they did.
