Lucas completed the Iowa State Fair Foundation Chase the Cow run again this year.
I'm not sure running with your hands in your pocket is good form, though.
I don't know what his hands are doing up in the air, though, either.
Regardless, it was fun and he was smiling at the end of his 4th place finish.

We were very excited to watch Jacob get a first place finish at the South Hardin middle school cross country meet.
The cross country team has a one mile fun run for kids. This was his first attempt to run one whole mile. {He's in red in the back 1/3 of this photo.}
He got pretty tired about half way. His big kid buddies Jacob (left) and Layne (right) ran the rest of the way with him. Very neat of them and he thought it was pretty cool.
