Way back in May we (all) planted the garden.
Very good helper.
I don't have any pictures of the garden this summer. As gardens sometime go, our weeds got out of control. But regardless, we've still enjoyed some of its bounty.
Including this 26.2 pound watermelon that Brent brought home at the beginning of August.
Before we left for our Kentucky vacation we shared all of the goodness with friends.
We found this little watermelon - Lucas' hand for size comparison.

Even with the weeds, we still love the goodies that we can produce and enjoy.
Last night we had yummy squash with steak and sweet corn we froze in July! Delicious supper!
