When Grandpa Steve asked Hannah to take care of Sadie there was no stopping this girl! She was in charge the whole way, including when Sadie wouldn't come out from under Grandma and Grandpa's bed. Hannah had the right and easy answer. She has a big heart.

Ryan's wild side
Ryan is at a busy stage in life. Everything is exciting and there is so much to discover!
He was thrilled to run wild at the gym while Hannah was at gymnastics.
This is about the only gymnastics tool that I can justify him playing in. The rest would give him way too many ideas!
This is how he feels about his sister helping ride his tricycle.
I knew this day was coming… the day I could no longer entertain him with the little plastic slide.
He wants to be with the big kids.
And he passed the test.
He also graduated from the high chair to a booster seat at the table. That high chair was good to us - three children worth of good! Ryan was escaping from the straps and trying to climb out of the high chair so it was time to move on. It's fun to have all five of us sit together at the table.

aPriL fOOls dAY
A few days before April 1st, Lucas was telling me about April Fool's Day. At age seven, he gets it. The practical jokes make more sense and it's harmless entertainment. I was excited to pull one over on he and Hannah.
I froze their Rice Krispies. It looked so believably normal that they never thought anything of it - until they tried to scoop it up with a spoon. Hahahahaha! They loved that Mom tricked them!

spring music
We enjoyed the Lucas and Hannah's spring music concerts at school. It is neat to see them in their school environment and observe them.
Hannah as "the woman" in the preschool play.
Marshall playing the part of Jesus.
That same night was Lucas' music concert, too, so we headed to the auditorium.
And we tried to keep this guy restrained. Not easy.
Warmin' up the pipes.
Great musical entertainment!
Hannah was so excited Leslee came to watch!!!
And I get this...
in order to get this :-)
