Cyclone club summer party

The Jr. Cyclone Club had a summer membership kick off a few weeks ago.

There was face painting, which Lucas always wants to get.  Brent offered Lucas to get as many tattoos as he wanted instead of standing in the long line waiting for a face painting.  The cheerleaders were putting on the tattoos and they really got a kick out of Lucas and Hannah trying to find enough places to put tattoos. 

We did not tattoo Ryan :)

Due to this cowlick, when Ryan's hair is long enough to need a cut, 

I foresee him having the same buzz cut as his brother, Lucas.  

holiday weekend

The July 4th weekend we spent a lot of time with the Perry family.  Brad, Michelle and Cameron and Uncle Brian were all home.  We spent a lot of time at Grandma and Grandpa's -- just hanging out.

We love swimming at the pool!  

We were able to squeeze in swim lessons before Ryan's arrival.

On the last day of swim lessons, Hannah got to jump off the diving board.  She never hesitated!

Since Lucas was hanging our at Hannah's swim lessons, they let him jump off, too.  Lucky!

The last day of Lucas' lessons he and his classmates got to go down the slides with lifeguards.  

It is so great to see your kids learn new things and grow in confidence!  Just yesterday Hannah was so proud to tell me she went under the water at the swimming pool.  Lucas is on to the next level of lessons for next year.  Good work, L & H!

Ryan has been loved on by many, many people in his first two weeks of life.

This is the shelf in our living room.  It used to have a 4 on it.  

I was changing Ryan's diaper in his bedroom when Lucas came running in with the 4 in his hand. He was so excited that he had gotten it down and would it be okay if he put the 5 on the shelf?  Of course.
